The Enforcement Team is looking to appoint a part-time process officer.

The post will be based at Civic Office and will provide an exciting and challenging role, with the successful person taking enforcement action through the processing of penalty charge notices and  fixed penalty notices. The role will involve entering and administrating various processes regarding fine and permits. This will involve dealing with evidence and entering information on to a database and dealing with telephone and email queries.  Your remit will mainly be office based and you will have experience of using and maintaining databases, including taking payments from customers.

The team is looking for a committed and motivated individual, passionate about improving Doncaster, through efficient and rigorous enforcement.

You will possess good interpersonal and assertiveness skills and demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, with experience of dealing with members of the public normally over the telephone. You will also have experience of dealing with customer correspondence, complaints and appeals

Some knowledge of the enforcement of legislation and the ability to work to policies and procedures will be be an advantage You also will need to be able to prioritise work to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved therefore you will have an understanding of performance management. You will also have the ability to work effectively with the minimum supervision.
