We are currently recruiting for Principal Finance Officers to deliver high quality financial advice, guidance and day to day business partner support to the Directorates of Regeneration & Environment and Learning and Opportunities: Children & Young People.  This will include working with budget holders and service managers, dealing with the annual cycle of preparing and monitoring revenue and capital budgets and closing the accounts, ensuring savings targets are managed and achieved and will involve work on projects and service reviews. 

We are looking for people with new ideas, a willingness to challenge existing practices and the ability to establish positive relationships and communicate effectively with service managers and partners to help improve the financial management services.
