We are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to deliver high level financial advice, guidance and day to day business partner support to the Directorate of Learning and Opportunities: Children & Young People.  This will also include overall management and co-ordination of the Dedicated Schools grant and Schools Forum, working with senior managers, external partners, members and government bodies to ensure the grant is administered in line with regulations. 

The post will be part of a strong and supportive team, working hard towards developing our financial management service. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to establish positive relationships and communicate effectively with senior managers and partners to provide appropriate challenge and support to assist in decision making.
