35 hours, Term time plus five training days

Saltersgate Infant School would like to appoint a dedicated, flexible, skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work throughout school, both covering PPA and also within classes with the teacher. This position will commence from September 2018, initially for 1 year with a view to permanent.

We need a HLTA who:

Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record                           

Is able to plan, prepare and assess own lessons

Has a particular interest and skill in delivering the creative arts                                                        

Is committed to high standards of attainment and behaviour

Able to engage well with pupils                                                                                                         

Able to work under your own initiative                                                                                           -

Smartly presented with excellent time management skills

Works effectively as part of a skilled team 

Has appropriate qualifications and experience

The post will include whole class teaching for PPA cover for Y1, Y2 and FS classes, with a particular focus on the arts.
