Hall Cross Academy is a large ‘good’ 11-18 comprehensive school based on two sites within Doncaster. The Academy caters for 2,000 students, including over 500 in the sixth form. This makes us one of the largest schools in England.

Full Time (split shifts plus overtime)
We are looking to appoint a hardworking, conscientious person who will fill a key role at the Academy by ensuring that all buildings are available, accessible and suitable for the use of students, staff and visitors. You will join our dedicated premises team on the Academy’s Thorne Road site filling a crucial role by ensuring that there is a safe, clean and welcoming environment at Hall Cross.
Shift pattern duties will include the opening and securing of premises, ensuring rooms are prepared for use, dealing with deliveries, ensuring Academy facilities and utilities are in good working order. You will be expected to carry out minor maintenance and repairs as required so some knowledge of carpentry, painting and plumbing would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will be organised, have the ability to be adaptable and work well within a team whilst being able to use their own initiative when necessary.
